Timothy J. Conlon is an experienced divorce attorney in Providence, Rhode Island, handling cases involving divorce, separation, custody, interstate custody, visitation, and support. He has handled complex family law cases involving a wide range of issues. Our firm also works with child molestation/child abuse victims and their families, aggressively advocating on their behalf to obtain compensation from the abusers, and the organizations that employ them. We have recovered substantial awards from school departments, group homes and religious institutions. In addition, we provide representation to juveniles before the Rhode Island Family Courts.

Laura Frechette

Attorney Laura Frechette joined the firm on June 1, 2009. She is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and the Federal District Court of Rhode Island. She is also a certified Mediator. After completing her legal education she continued for two years studying psychology and received a certificate in grief counseling. In addition to her legal education, she has obtained a Master's of Science in Criminal Justice. Her original thesis, The Reliability and Validity of Fingerprint Analysis in the United States, was selected for presentation at the National Criminal Justice Convention in Baltimore, Maryland in February 2006. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. In college she was on the Dean's List and was named in Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1995.

She also had the opportunity in law school to work with the Women's Resource Center in Newport where she wrote papers on setting up Specialized Domestic Violence Courts in Rhode Island.

Attorney Frechette has recently been added to the Board of Directors of the St. Thomas More Society Rhode Island chapter. She has also been elected to serve a three year term on the Roger Williams University School of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors. In addition to these activities, Attorney Frechette raises money for charities including: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, American Stroke Association, ALS/TDF (Lou Gehrig's Disease), Ronald McDonald house and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
