HOW CAN SOCIAL MEDIA AFFECT MY DIVORCE?

When you are going through a divorce, if it is contested, you should expect that your spouse is doing everything in their power to cast you in a less than favorable light. Past mistakes can be dredged up and current problems can be brought front and center, all in an attempt to win more marital property or parental rights. While this might seem unfair, to say the least, it is important not to get hung up on it and instead do what you can to protect yourself and your best interests during your divorce. And this includes checking your behavior on social media accounts.

AMICABLE DIVORCES HIGHLY LIKELY IN RHODE ISLAND

According to a survey conducted by the online divorce form preparation site CompleteCase.com, divorcing couples in Rhode Island have one of the highest chances of maintaining an amicable relationship after their separation. The survey asked divorcing spouses in all 50 states to describe their divorce as amicable, cordial, or disagreeable. The results of the survey indicate that Rhode Island and Vermont have the best divorces in the nation, while the Connecticut and New Hampshire have the highest proportion of contentious divorces. A full map of the results can be seen here.
